Barberry Shrub Selections

Barberry is an old-time favorite for use as a good, all purpose shrub. The abundant, thorny barbs that are this shrubs' trademark make it an excellent choice for use as a formidable barrier, or "natural fence". Easy to grow, and very heat / cold tolerant - they are a deciduous shrub choice that can be kept at most any size & shape through occasional trimming. We offer a few different Barberry selections that we hope you will find very attractive, as well as useful in your landscape plantings. Our Barberry is not shipped year round as our evergreen species are....they are only available for shipment during the growing season.

GOOD DWARF BARBERRY CHOICE Crimson Pygmy Barberry is a smaller, dwarf version of the original Red Barberry. Nice dark blood red leaves keep their color all the way from spring till frost. Crimson Pygmy has a neat, compact, round growth habit.
