| Chamaecyparis obtusa 'Filicoides'
A small tree form of obtusa Chamaecyparis that has a very irregular growth habit. Develops long arching, pendulous branches that are heavily clothed with dense, dark green foliage. Foliage is quite pendulous as well, and is fern-like in both shape and texture. Makes a very interesting accent or specimen planting due to its curious growth habit. Likes full sun, but will accept partial shade as well. Moist soil, well drained with good organic content will provide best growth / color.
