Cupressocyparis x leylandii 'Gold Rider'
Yet another very interesting, unusual variety of Leyland Cypress. Has the same growth characteristics as the regular Leyland, but its foliage is bright lime green towards the center of the tree turning to vibrant yellow/gold further out on the branches. Very nice, dense pyramidal growth habit. Trust me, you can't miss this tree from a mile away when it gets 20-30 feet tall. Grows fast, just like all Leylands - good for screens, borders, or as a real standout specimen planting to draw attention to a particular area in your landscape.
