A very attractive evergreen shrub with large lustrous dark green leaves that are oblong in shape. has rather small, but wonderfully fragrant flowers occuring in April thru late May. Flowers are 5 petaled, and have a very fragrant orange blossom scent to them. This plant is best suited for warmer weather climates, rarely thriving in any zone colder than 7b - best suited for zones 8 & up. Very versatile shrub whose uses can include : mass plantings, foundations, group plantings under trees, hedge use, screens / borders, and also a very handsome choice for container growing on terraces or patios.
