| Chamaecyparis pisifera 'Mikko'
This plant has very similar growth habits as Blue Fuzzy Dwarf, yet does not seem to grow quite as fast.....more of a moderate grower. Feathery foliage is light bluish-green and is tipped in bright white. Has almost a "frosted" appearance. Great choice for a variety of uses - accents, group plantings, can even be planted close together (3-4 ft) and trimmed for use as a hedge/border. Although you may lose some of the brilliant white tipping on the ends if steadily trimmed. Does best in locations where there is a little shade during the hot afternoons - can sometimes get scorched in direct, hot sun.
