| EVERGREEN PREMIER SELECTION
Poncirus trifoliata 'Flying Dragon'
One of the most unusual looking plants I have ever seen. This deciduous bushy shrub, or small tree has thick, spiny, dark green shoots that grow in spirally twisted, contorted shapes that quite simply put....have no rhyme or reason as to their path or pattern. Nice dark green leaves. Has very fragrant white flowers in late spring, and often again in the fall. Flowers are followed by orangelike fruits that are about 1"-1 1/2" round. Fruits are sometimes used in jellies and tarts. Makes a very formidable protective hedge when planted in a row. Likes full sun.
