| Thuja occidentalis 'Wintergreen' a.k.a. 'Hetz Wintergreen'
An excellent columnar / pyramidal Thuja variety that has a good reputation for holding excellent green color throughout the winter months - far less bronzing / discoloration than several other Thuja varieties. Has also shown itself to have very good shade tolerance. Growth rate in shady locations is somewhat slower that in full sun to part sun locations, but foliage density is virtually unchanged. Wintergreen Pyramidal Arborvitae makes an excellent hedge or privacy screen choice - recommended spacing of about 3-4 feet apart for a good tight hedge or screen.
