Mature Gold King Chamaecyparis
Nice mature specimen showing the growth habit, and graceful pendulous foliage of Gold King Cham. Truly a wonderful medium sized accent or specimen cultivar.

Younger Specimen
This specimen is only about 5-6 yrs old, but you can already start to see the similarities between it and the mature specimen in the photo above this one. Gold King has a more even, globe shaped appearance at this age.
Gold King Foliage Close-Up
A closer, tighter photo of the foliage of Gold King Chamaecyparis showing the graceful, fanlike foliage structure......very similar to both Arborvitae and some Cypress cultivars.
Gold King Chamaecyparis Foliage
A great shot showing the golden yellow tips of the newer growth on Gold King branches. This coloration is most intense during mid to late spring, and again for a slightly more brief period in mid fall.
