Cupressus Arizonica 'Carolina Sapphire'
Conical, broadly pyramidal growing conifer. Grows slightly taller, and a little faster than "Blue Ice". Same reddish purple flaky bark with spirally arranged blue-silver, glaucous sprays of leaves/needles. Slightly more erect growth habit than most Arizona Cypress. Very beautiful specimen tree for those who want something a little different and out of the ordinary. Developed by Clemson University.
