| Forsythia X Intermedia 'Evergold'
A wonderful variety of Forsythia that has the classic yellow flowers Forsythia is famous for in early spring, but has beautiful foliage colors as well to add color to your landscape long after those flowers are gone. Foliage is a bright green that is margined in a bright yellow gold color. Hold good color even in the heat of summer. Growth habit is typical of most Forsythia, with growth rate being just a bit slower. Likes adequate moisture in a good, sunny location. Average soil requirements, but does best in soil that drains well. Looks great in group plantings, or just as a bright accent in just about any landscape.
