Mature Row Of Ginkgo Trees
Here is a nice row of older Ginkgo trees. Here you can see the nice growth habit, and dense green foliage of this species.

Fall Color Display
Here is the same group of Ginkgos as above photo, but this time in fall coloration. Clean, clear yellow fall coloration makes a very attractive spectacle in the fall.

Ginkgo Foliage & Fruit
A wonderful shot of both mature Ginkgo foliage, as well as some Ginkgo fruit. This fruit is produced by the female Ginkgo tree - the male produces no fruit at all. Female Ginkgo trees usually begin to produce fruit around their 25th yr of maturity. This fruit drop when fully ripened, and has a very pungent odor to it. The center of the fruit contains a capsule which very closely resembles a pistachio nut in both size & shape. A seed is contained within this pistachio like capsule.
