Oval, dark green foliage that is quite thick & sturdy gives this variety a very attractive look throughout the entire year.

Indian Hawthorn Flowers
The blooms of Indian Hawthorn 'Alba' are bright, pure white - a wonderful contrast against the dense, dark green foliage. Flowers begin to bloom in late March, and last throughout the spring and into the summer in most areas.

Hawthorn Berries
Here is a shot of the berries that are produced by Indian Hawthorn. These berries begin showing up on the shrubs in early to mid summer, and become larger & ripen in the fall. The berries are quite large ( approx 3/8" diameter ), and turn a deep purple/blue as they ripen. Berries usually remain on the shrub throughout the winter months.
