Here you can see the intense silvery blue needles of Colorado Blue Spruce. This particular specimen has obviously has optimum growing conditions, and nutrients provided to it. It has been proven that the proper amount of fertilization can greatly enhance the intensity of the silvery blue colors of Colorado Blue Spruce.

Colorado Blue Spruce - Branches & Cones

Mature branches with ripened cones of Colorado Blue Spruce. This variety is known to produce very resinous cones, and large amounts of resin / sap. You can even see the sap running down the sides of the cones of the specimen on the right.
