Mature White Spruces
Mature White Spruce in both landscape / cultivation, as well as in native habitat. You can clearly see the difference in both color and form between the specimen in cultivation versus the one in the wild ( the one on the right ). Color is always improved under landscape cultivation with addition of regular fertilization & feeding programs.

Branches with Ripe Cones
White Spruce branches loaded with mature, ripe cones. Cones are rather small when compared to several other commonly seen Picea cultivars - only about 2" - 2 1/2" in length and rarely over 1 " in diameter. Cones start out as a greenish purple color, and turn reddish brown as they ripen.
