Long thought of as the official harbinger of spring. Bright yellow flowers in early spring is followed by a handsome display of nice dark green foliage. Leaves are about 2"- 2 1/2" long and serrated at the edges. Very fast growth rate - during the spring, the branches almost have the appearance of yellow wands. A very good performer that loves full sun, average soil, and adequate moisture.
