Also known as Swiss Mountain Pine. This is a dwarf, low-growing, spreading pine. Nice dark green, stiff needles that are 2-3 inches long. Very tolerant - can handle poor, rocky, dry, windy conditions. Widely used in foundation plantings, and is an excellent choice for bonsai projects and Japanese gardens.
