Juniperus chinensis 'Sea Spray'
Overall Description A superb
groundcover type juniper with excellent blue / green colored foliage
that is relatively soft-textured as compared to many other junipers.
Known for staying full, and dense - no thinning of center branches,
which makes this variety a superb choice for a nice, dense, carefree
groundcover that retains its beauty all year round. Very hardy - has
proven itself to be very resistant to water molds, root rot, and
juniper blight as well. Loves full sun to part shade. Needs soil that
is somewhat well drained.

Flower, Cone, Or Berry Facts: None to mention
Diseases / Insects:
Rather trouble free juniper variety -this variety has shown good resistance to mold, root rot, and most all juniper blights. However, planting in soil with inadequate drainage can still lead to any of the problems.
Fertilization / Feeding: Either
water soluble ( Miracle Gro, or equivalent ), or granular ( Holly Tone
is excellent ). Other granular types with 6-12-12, or 10-10-10 ratio is
acceptable. Best to fertilize in early spring, and again in mid fall -
avoid feeding during hot summer months, and directly after
transplanting.
