Cryptomeria japonica 'Sekkan Sugi'
This interesting variety of cryptomeria is also sometimes called 'Golden Curls'. Mainly because of its very distinct, bright yellow, weeping curls at the end of each branch. The rest of the tree is a nice bright light green. It is one of our favorite cryptomerias, and always an eye-catcher no matter where you plant it. Either full sun, or part shade will be fine for Sekkan Sugi, however you get the best color display in full sun. Makes a wonderful specimen tree.
