Ligustrum sinense 'Swift Creek'
Beautiful, striking variegated foliage is definitely this Ligustrum's strong suit. Leaves are small - 1/2"-3/4" long, and are mostly creamy butter yellow then splashed with a nice green color. Has a more compact, dense growth habit than most varieties of Chinese Privet, and makes an outstanding hedge for most any location. This is a very, very adaptable shrub that is capable of thriving equally as well in anything from full sun to full shade - although growth rate & foliage density is best in part to full sun. Lends itself remarkably well to trimming, and can be kept in just about any shape / size imagineable. First introduced by Swift Creek Nursery in Clayton, NC
