We guarantee that all plants are in excellent condition when packed, and shipped. Obviously, we put our confidence in FedEx as the exclusive shipping method for our plants, and as a whole they have done an outstanding job for us. However, on rare occasions, some plants may experience some of the following during their trip : drooping, minor leaf-loss and/or minimal yellowing/discoloration, minor limb damage, etc. These instances are quite rare, but can happen when shipping plants in boxes. Plants normally recover within a few weeks after planting. We always do our very best to insure that your plants are packed & shipped in the safest, gentlest, and most effective methods possible. We kindly ask that you notify us via e-mail if you see a problem upon receiving your plants, and that you give them a couple weeks to settle in to their new environment.
All of our plants have a standard 60 day guarantee / warranty period. Any shortages, or other damage in transit issues need to be reported within 48 hrs - and all other health / loss issues need be reported within this 60 day period. Any losses reported within 60 days of receiving the plants, will result in a refund of the purchase price not including shipping, and/or replacement of product at our discretion. We will not be held liable for losses due to shipment delays, planting outside of recommended hardiness zones, unforeseen acts of nature ( extremes in heat, cold, freezes, tornadoes, hurricanes, etc., etc.) or any other circumstances beyond our control. We also will not be responsible, or liable, for damages or losses resulting from shipment delays due to the customer providing an incorrect / invalid shipping address.......so please, please, please proofread your shipping address & info before submitting your order. All we can do on our end is ship your order to the address that you provide on the order form.
In some rare cases, proof of loss / damage may be required before we can proceed with credit or replacement of product purchased. Any losses incurred, or reported after this 60 day guarantee period are not covered - but we will be glad to review any instance on a case by case basis. We strongly feel that any health issues that would have been as a result of any unhealthy condition at the time of shipment, or would have been a result of any wrongdoing of ours, would clearly be evident within this 60 day guarantee period - let's be honest, if the plant was unhealthy when it was shipped, or received.......well, it just is not going to make it longer than two months, or 60 days.
We take extreme pride in our plants - all the way from growing them, to packing & shipping them directly to you. We will NEVER knowingly ship plants which are of questionable health, or not true to type. We want you to be satisfied with your purchasing experience with us, and will do our best to work out any problems ( rare as they may be ) to everyones' satisfaction. Since plants are a living product, and we obviously have no control over there care & use after leaving our nursery, we will only be responsible for losses or damages that are the result of any fault or wrongdoings of our own. Your order will include a planting instruction sheet, which will touch on just how your newly arrived plants should be handled & planted. We kindly ask that you please read this information BEFORE planting your new arrivals, and follow the guidelines contained in it as closely as possible. As always, you are welcome to contact us at anytime should you have additional questions that you feel were not covered in the planting instructions. We highly suggest you contact us via e-mail, as we are generally outside tending to the never ending tasks that are involved with keeping our plants as beautiful & happy as they are - at least whenever weather permits. We check our e-mails several times daily, and try our very best to respond to e-mails quite promptly.
Plants may be returned within 7 days after receiving them. Any shipping charges for the return of plants are the responsibility of the customer. Upon receiving the plants here at our nursery in good, acceptable, live condition a refund / credit for the purchase price of the plants will be issued. All shipping charges are non-refundable. All we ask is that you contact us ( preferrably via e-mail ) within 48 hrs after receiving your plants, and advise us that you wish to return them, and state a reason for the return. We do our very best to pack the plants in a way that will keep them safe & happy during their trip, and kindly ask that you please do the same when returning them to us. Any delivery / shipment that is returned to our nursery as a result of unsuccessful delivery attempts, customer refusal, etc are subject to a refund of the total cost of the plants only - any & all FedEx shipping charges are non-refundable and are not eligible for refund..........as these charges have been billed & paid at the time the shipment is placed with FedEx for shipment.
