Thuja occidentalis 'Tom Thumb'
Overall Description
This
arborvitae variety is semi dwarf, and globe shaped in habit. Foliage is
very dense, and consists of nice green sprays which hold their color
very well through the winter - minimal bronzing, if any, in cold
weather. Makes a great little accent plant, or can even be used as a
lower growing hedge when planted about 2 feet apart. Tom Thumb
Arborvitae grows just slightly larger than Danica Globe or Hetzi
Midget, but is smaller than Woodwardi Globe. Very hardy - excellent
disease resistance and vigor for a semi dwarf variety. Probably our favorite among the dwarf / semi-dwarf Arborvitae varieties we grow. Just a good, all around variety.
