Tree-tone ( 6 - 3 - 2 ) - All Natural Plant Food with Bio-tone Microbes

Fruit & Shade Tree Organic Plant Food

Tree-tone is a premium plant food ideally designed to supply the necessary nutrients for growing Fruit, Shade & Ornamental trees. The natural organics in Tree-tone break down gradually to provide a safe, long lasting nutrient reservoir to feed the entire tree: leaves, trunk, and roots. It is activated throughout the growing season so it won't burn delicate root systems, or leach out of soil - both common problems associated with synthetic / chemical based fertilizers and plant foods. Tree-tone's all natural formula contains Bio-tone®, our proprietary blend of beneficial microbes. Bio-tone biologically enhances our natural plant food to ensure superior plant growth.

We recommend using this food for full development of the entire tree.

For New Plantings :

Dig hole larger than root of tree so that roots can spread naturally. Remove 1/2 of the soil and replace it with compost, peat moss or humus. Mix 1 cup of Tree-tone into amended soil. (1 lb = 3 cups).
Place the tree in the hole so that it sits at the same depth it was previously growing ( use soil mark on the trunk as a guide ). Fill the hole halfway with amended soil. Pack the soil firmly, soak it with water, and allow it to settle. Finish filling hole leaving the top two inches loose for easy absorption of water. Make slight depression around the tree to help hold water. Add mulch to help conserve water, slow down evaporation, and control weeds. Keep well watered until tree is established.

For Established Trees :

Feed trees twice each year - Early Spring, and Fall (after leaves drop but before ground freezes). Use half the recommended rate in the Fall application. If the area to be fed is mulched, it is preferable to remove the mulch, feed and then restore the mulch on top of the plant food. If this is not possible, double all recommended feeding rates.
