| EVERGREEN PREMIER SELECTION
Juniperus procumbens 'Variegata'
An excellent low-growing juniper which can be used as a colorful ground cover, or even as a low accent planting to provide contrast. Not as low growing as procumbens 'Greenmound', but still an effective ground cover type juniper. Mainly needle like foliage is a nice bright, clear green color that is splashed with a bright, butter yellow variegation. Holds color very well in winter - little, if any, discoloration at all. Prefers full sun, will tolerate some shade......but doesn't like much. As with most all junipers, likes just about any soil that is well drained.
