| Weigela florida 'Variegata'
This is a very nice variety of Weigela noted equally as much for its foliage as its flowers. A dense, spreading, rounded shrub with foliage that is a nice bright lime green with dark green variegation. Flowers are trumpet shaped, begin blooming as early as April in warmer climates. The blooms are both solid white, as well as pastel pink - both on the same plant! Once blooms start, they will last until the first of July. A very vigorous grower - many times as much as 4ft per year, but can be maintained at virtually any desired height / shape with trimming. Good for use as a shrub border, or in group / mass plantings where a good mid-sized shrub is needed. Full sun to partial shade with average soil & water requirements make this a very versatile shrub that can be used in a wide variety of situations & locations.
