Forsythia is an old, time tested favorite.....and considered in almost all areas of the country to be the official Harbinger of Spring due to it being among the absolute earliest species to break bud and begin it's showy display of bright yellow flowers right from the get-go, lol. The 'Northern Gold' variety is one of the most widely planted varieties in existence.....in any category or species.

But in addition to this old standby, we also offer a couple other less commonly found varieties of Forsythia that, while also producing the same brilliant show of bright yellow flowers in very early spring.....they also have some interesting foliage coloration & patterns to maintain some interest long after the yellow blooms have done their thing. The green & yellow variegation of Evergold Forsythia, and the delicate silver accents of Kumson are two especially popular & attractive Forsythia varieties with excellent foliage.
