Black Hills Spruce Black Hills Spruce / Picea Colorado Blue Spruce

One of the hardiest of all Spruces. Very nice blue/green needle color. Dense branching habit makes this tree a good screening choice - even in poor soils. Slightly slower growth than Norway, Serbian, or White Spruce.

One of the strongest, most adaptable spruce varieties we grow. Attractive blue green needles remain same color year round. Makes a great natural looking windbreak! These are heavy, established trees with thick trunk caliper.

Probably the most commonly used Spruce varieties in landscape use. Needs soil with high organic content for best color - fertilize yearly. Color intensifies with maturity. Well branched, nice sized young trees.

Serbian Spruce has a slender pyramidal habit with good green color year round. Very hardy - adapts to many different soil types. A very graceful spruce variety when grown - makes a good screen or windbreak as well.

West Himilayan Spruce, also known as both Morinda Spruce, and picea smithiana is a large pyramidal needled evergreen with pendulous, almost weeping, growth. Very elegant looking in any landscape setting.
